In 1981, we established the unmistakable Saucony silhouette and triangular heels with the Jazz. In its creation, we worked closely with podiatrists to ensure we designed footwear that guaranteed runners' comfort and mitigated the impact of long distances. The triangular lug sole offered good grip with a piston-like suspension system, which has inspired Saucony sole design to date.
